ABOUT THE Football Coaches
Marques Sullivan
Marques Sullivan was a former starting offensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills. He was also a member of the New York Giants and the 2004 Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.
He played in over 40 games in his NFL career. During his college years at the University of Illinois, he was a 2X All-Big Ten and Third Team All-American left tackle. Sullivan was rated the third best offensive lineman in the country his senior year at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL.
He received over 65 D1 offers while in high school.
Marques has worked with hundreds of young men, sharing his experiences and helping young men gain athletic scholarships to some of the best schools in the country.
He is entering his fourth year training linemen in Southwest Florida.
Sullivan has helped more than 50 offensive linemen across the country receive division 1 and 2 scholarship offers.
Spencer Adkins
Spencer Adkins is Naples native. He didn’t start playing organized football until his freshman year in high school. Raw to the sport, he took well to his coaching. He excelled in the weight room which quickly translated to the field.

Adkins emerged as a Defensive End in high school but played multiple positions on the defensive side throughout his career. By the time he was a sophomore, he accomplished all state honors and started to get recognized nationally. After playing in two state championships and state semi finals game, Spencer was one of the top defensive prospects in the state.
Spencer won the local Broxson award as a senior. Rated as the No. 7 outside linebacker in the nation and No. 87 in the nation regardless of position by Rivals.com; Ranked as the No. 62 overall prospect and the No. 10 linebacker by Scout.com; Ranked as the No. 4 prospect in Florida by the Orlando Sentinel; the No. 1 linebacker prospect in the South by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution; the No. 4 overall prospect by the Tampa Tribune; and the No. 48 overall prospect by Tom Lemming Prep Football Report; Member of the PrepStar Top 100 Dream Team and the Florida Times-Union Super 75.

Spencer chose the University of Miami over Florida, Florida State, Alabama & Georgia.

In college Adkins built a reputation as a fast, physical player that could play Special teams, linebacker, defensive back and pass rusher. After a 4 year college career, Adkins was drafted 6th round by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2009 NFL Draft.
Adkins played 6 years in the NFL, including a year with the Baltimore Ravens and the NY Giants. Spencer now gives back to the game by coaching nation wide prep football camps, All-star games and local individual players.
Ed Gant
Ed Gant attended Cape Coral High School. He went onto North Alabama before playing in the NFL for four years.

In his early career, Ed was a High school two sport athlete, lettering in Football and Track. He was an All-State, All-Area Wide Receiver and Defensive Back, and nominated to play in the Florida vs Georgia All-Star game. He achieved the prestigious Offense MVP title of the John Carrigan All-Star game. He went to States in Track for the 200 meters and 4x100 relay.

In his collegiate career, Ed was a Junior College All-American. He transferred to University of North Alabama where he had a record setting season. He was 2nd team D2 All-American.
Ed set records for the longest touchdowns in UNA history, 97, 91 and 87. Single season touchdown record with 12.
In his professional football career, Ed joined the Arizona Cardinals where he played Wide Receiver and Special Teams. He later traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he holds one of the longest touchdowns in Bucs history.

He currently resides in Southwest Florida. He is proud to dedicate his time toward educating and uplifting young athletes.
David Gilbert
David is a former Wisconsin Defensive Lineman and teammate of
current Arizona Cardinal JJ Watt. David is currently is the draft pool
For the USFL!!! David’s clinic will consist of 1 hour of Defensive Line fundamentals against the run and another hour of Defensive Line Pass rush Techniques
Frank Tedesco

Frank Tedesco is the owner of X’s and O’s Football School and of Parisi Speed School Naples, which he founded in 2021.

Coach Frank has been selected to continue to coach in The All American Classic High School Game.

Coach Frank has coached Youth and Varsity High School Football for ten years; five years in youth and five in high school. His last position was as a Defense Coordinator for Marco Island Academy. In looking for ways to elevate athletes of all levels, he invested in Parisi Speed School. Through Parisi he has implemented a program for linear and multi-directional speed training.

Coach Frank is a certified speed trainer, certified Combine trainer, and he holds multiple accreditations for each position of football coaching.

Most recently, Coach Frank has been focusing on Athlete Placement. His network has brought him to Michigan University, University of Florida, Columbia University and a slew of others. Since its inception, he has helped 29 athletes to achieve their college football dreams, at all levels, including: 5 Division I players.

Mikhail Binns
Coach Mikhail Binns has been involved in the fitness industry as a personal trainer since 2010.
He has been a Strength & Conditioning Coach for youth football, soccer and basketball players. Coach Binns has also worked as the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator since 2015 in Naples, Florida.
For the past decade, people and athletes from across Southwest Florida have hired Coach Binns because of his remarkable ability to improve their strength, power, speed, mobility, nutrition, agility, mindset, and sport-specific endurance. He will provide fitness programs that will suit your needs, allowing student athletes to achieve goals and obtain optimal results. His resume includes training NFL players, NCAA football players, NCAA basketball players, MMA fighters, wrestlers, Olympic athletes as well as high school & camp; college athletes.

PJ Gibbs
Coach Gibbs is head coach at East Lee High School.
He started coaching in Florida since 2015, starting his career at Gulf Coast High School in Naples and helping lead the team to their first and only District Championship in 2016. Coach Gibbs coached 14 years in New Jersey, mostly at his alma mater Manasquan High School, coaching all three defensive positions and becoming the Defensive Coordinator in 2011.
Coach Gibbs has been a part of multiple Division and State Championship teams in NJ.

Coach Gibbs is a Master Trainer and US National Team Coach for USA Football has been a Head Coach for both U17 USA Teams (2018 and 2019), and asked to be Head Coach for the U17 Japanese Team (2020). Winning all three International Bowl Championships as the Head Coach in AT&T Stadium.
Lastly, during the Quarantine period, Coach Gibbs wrote two books, The Right Defense for Your Program Volumes 1 and 2, both being on the Amazon bestseller list for multiple weeks.

Coach Gibbs just completed his 21st season of coaching this fall at Palmetto Ridge High School in Naples Florida. Coach Gibbs' Defensive Unit was the #1 Ranked Defense in SWFL this year allowing 6.9 Points per game while creating 33 Turnovers and having a Havoc Rate of 42% for the season. Coach has completed his 3rd year at Palmetto Ridge and has helped the team to a historical 2020 Season, winning their 1st CCAC Championship in school, setting a record for wins in a season (9), and winning the program's 1st playoff games in school history.
Coach Gibbs obtained his BA in History and his MA in Educational Leadership from St. Peter's University

Michael B. Carey
Coach Mike Carey graduated from Concord University in 2015, earning a Bachelor's in Sports Science. During those four years, Coach Mike played Division II Collegiate Football as the defensive positions of Corner and Safety. He and his team went on to win two Conference Championship and one Regional Championship. Coach Mike was named First Team All Conference twice, and All Super Region, once.

Post-graduation, he joined the Indoor Football League, AFL and NAL, and played Defense as a Corner/Safety for four years on the following teams:

Dan Newbrough
Coach Newbrough has been living and coaching in Naples, Florida for the past 18 years. Coach Newbrough has been a defensive coordinator at Palmetto Ridge, Barron Collier, and most recently at Golden Gate High School. He was the head football coach at Palmetto Ridge for three seasons (2009-2011). Previous to moving to collier county coach Newbrough also coached High School football at Center Grove High School in Indiana and Kailua High School in Hawaii. Coach Newbrough started his coaching career in college as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Hawaii and the University of Kansas.

Coach Newbrough graduated in 1990 with a degree in communications from the University of Kansas. He also played football for the Jayhawks earning special teams player of the year in 1988 and Most Valuable Defensive Player in 1989. Coach Newbrough received his teaching degree in 1995 from the University of Hawaii.
Herbans Paul
Coach Herbans Paul is a native of Immokalee, FL and of Haitian descent. He’s a 2017 graduate of Florida State University (FSU) where he majored in Sports Management and Social Science. At FSU he played as defensive back on the University’s football team. While at the University he mentored teammates and underclass men, hosted recruiting visits and was involved in numerous on campus organizations.

After graduating, Mr. Paul served as a Recreational therapist at RAM-C Program and Assistant football coach at Maclay school. Coach Herbans currently works at East Lee County High School as corners coach and assistant Head coach. He is a father to one and notes his son is his motivation and driving force to greatness. Herbans prides himself on hard work, perseverance and continuing to pass his knowledge to the youth.
Kevin Singleton
With 10 years of coaching experience, Coach Kevin Singleton enters his 5th season as McClintock Assistant Linebacker/Running backs Coach. Previously he worked in the fitness industry for 20 years (1998-2017), He had a passion to coach again and work with young athletes. He was at Cal State Northridge 1996-98, working with the Linebackers, Special Teams and also a Physical Education teacher for two years. Prior to CSUN Coach Singleton coached at Mesa Community College as an outside linebacker and Special teams coach. After two seasons, Coach Singleton decided to continue his education at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and for 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Coach, inside linebacker Coach and working closely with the scout team.
During that time Coaching Singleton received his Master’s in Education. Coach Singleton also played inside linebacker and special teams and graduated in 1990 with BA in General studies Sociology, Psychology, and Education. Coach Singleton first coached Linebackers at Thunderbird HS in North Phoenix for 1 season. At the height of Singleton's life, he was a star linebacker at Arizona with an NFL career in his future. But the depths came just before his senior year, when he was diagnosed with leukemia, a potentially fatal cancer of the infection-fighting white blood cells. Singleton's life was saved because his identical twin brother, Chris, who also played at Arizona and went on to an NFL and played for the New England Patriots and the Miami dolphins and donated bone marrow for a transplant. Coach Singleton is now a 30 year Cancer Survivor. Singleton is working for Mcclintock High doing Security Surveillance operations. He has a teenage daughter, Kaelan Singleton (17), and often does motivational speaking at charitable events raising funds for leukemia research.
In 2019, the Red Hawks allowed just 15.0 points per game, including an NJAC-low 19 touchdowns. Agresta's defensive unit surrendered just 258.2 yards per game, including 149.5 yards passing. Montclair picked off an NJAC-high 14 passes and tied for conference lead with three interceptions returned for touchdowns. Seamus Nelson, Zack Zaccone and Jaier Garrett were named First Team All-NJAC, as Brandon Burdge, Jalen Harris and Brennan Ray were named Second Team All-NJAC.
Since taking over the Red Hawk defense has ranked among the best in the New Jersey Athletic Conference year in and year out. In 2018, Agresta's unit was one of the best in Division III allowing just 9.5 points per game which was fourth in the country. The 95 points was the fewest allowed by Montclair State since 1990 and the Red Hawks were also ranked seventh in total defense (234.1 yards per game) in addition to being in the Top 30 for rushing defense (26th / 85.4 ypg) and 14th in pass efficiency defense (94.05 rating). The 2018 campaign was the continuation of a trend by the MSU defense which has ranked in the Top 3 of the NJAC in every major statistical category the last decade. That includes 2010 when Montclair led the league in total defense and pass efficiency defense ranking eighth and fourth in Division III, respectively. Montclair surrendered just 155 points in 2010, a figure that was 10th-best in the nation.
Agresta has coached 13 All-Americans during his tenure and has had five of his players earn NJAC Defensive Player of the Year honors under his watch, including linebacker Mauro Altamura in 2018. Agresta came to Montclair State from William Paterson University, where he served as the Pioneers’ linebackers coach in 1999. Agresta also coached on the high school level beginning in 1995 at Rutherford High School and also served as the offensive line and linebackers coach at both Boonton and Northern Valley-Demarest high schools. A former All-County, All-Area, and All-League selection at linebacker at Wayne Hills High School in 1991, Agresta is the son of former MSU assistant coach Ed Agresta. He currently serves as a teacher at the Lakeview Learning Center in Wayne.
Todd Agresta
Kendrick Furness
Coach Kendrick Furness is originally from Little River, SC. Furness is an alumni of North Myrtle Beach High School where he was a four-year varsity letterman in football and basketball. After a successful high school career, he went on to play collegiate football while earning a dual bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Human Performance at Union College.

After finishing his eligibility and obtaining a dual degree in December 2019 he was blessed with the opportunity to play professional football in Paris, France for the Saint Ouen l’Aumõne Cougars. While being the starting quarterback, he also served as the organizations lead QB Coach and Offensive Coordinator (D2, U19, U14).
When his contract expired and the pandemic hit, Furness decided to return to the states and start coaching to help the next generation of kids excel.
This past year he received an opportunity to be the Quarterback Coach at Immokalee High School. After finishing the year there, he accepted the job to be the Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach at East Lee County High School.

Jon Cassin
Coach Cassin was born and raised in Naples, FL. He has been coaching in the local area in a variety of capacities since 2012.
Coach Cassin coached at Golden Gate High School from 2012-2019 (Spring). During his time there he served as the Wide Receivers coach, Quarterbacks coach, and JV Head Coach. Coach Cassin was also key to the recruiting aspect of the GGHS program. In the Fall of 2019 he served as the Quarterbacks coach at Gulf Coast High School. He also served as an assistant Track and Field coach during his time at Golden Gate High School, as well as a stint as the Head Lacrosse coach.
He brings a diverse background of coaching, military, and education to the Xs and Os Staff. Coach Cassin has served in the United States Army for 13+ years; 9 years active duty and the last 4+ in the reserves. He has multiple combat tours in Afghanistan, 4 years as a recruiter here in the Naples area, attended multiple leadership schools where he graduated top of his class, and assisted the Secret Service and other federal agencies with security during Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC.
In 2018, Coach Cassin graduated from Liberty University with his Bachelor’s degree in Education and will be graduating in December 2021 with his Master’s degree in Sports Management with a focus in Athletic Administration.
Darion Hall
Darion Hall, Collier County native, and Lely High School Alumni, has been involved in the fitness industry as a personal trainer since graduating college in 2014. He has been an assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, and also Running Backs Coach at the high school level. Hall worked as a running back coach at Golden Gate highschool where he has primed and sharpened some Division 1 athletes skills.
While being in the fitness industry, he has also played Professional Football for the Porvoo Butchers and Ljubljana Silverhawks football team which are both locations in Europe. Winning the Championship title in Slovenia with the Silverhawks. Hall fell short while playing in Finland for the Butchers, where competition was the most competitive in Europe. While in Europe, Hall decided to pass on his knowledge to the youth. There he would spend time coaching the youth on the correct way of mastering your skills on and off the football field.
Since returning from Europe, people have reached out to Darion because of his ability to improve skills, foot work, speed, agility, mindset and sport-specific endurance. He will provide knowledge that will suit your needs while helping you achieve your goals. His resume includes training Adults, Division 1 athletes, as well as High School and Youth athletes. Darion is currently retired from football in Europe, he resides here, in Southwest Florida.

Billy Riphin
Rychard Francois
Billensky Riphin (Billy) is a second-year student at Florida Gulf Coast University where he is pursuing in a degree in Business Management (BS) and a minor in Marketing. He is a recipient of the Take Stock in Children Scholarship which is now currently funding his education which is allowing him to pursue his love of sports all while being involved in the business field all together. He has over 4 years of playing experience and led his team in number of total tackles his senior year at Golden Gate High School. Billy is dedicated in getting involved with the kids all while helping build the individual skills of each player to get them to the next level no matter where they are currently at.
Rychard Francois (Rych) is a second-year student at Florida Gulf Coast University majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Business. His dream is to one day become a lawyer to fight for justice and equality for people like you and me. He has two years of playing experience and in his senior year, he made the Collier County All-Conference 2nd team. He is a member of the Collier County National Football Foundation and loves the sport as a whole. Helping young kids develop and build individual skills is something he loves to do and will seek to do it to the best of his ability.
